I'm Pffting again

I've lost my camera, I'm not overly concerned about that as I do need a new one, its the memory card inside it which is the problem. All the old photographs I have on my laptop so that's fine, its the oodles of lovely new ones I took at the weekend I can't use now. Pfft!

We had a lovely fathers day/ birthday meal on Sunday. Rob is 20 today (lord knows how that happened)I remember the day he was born as clear as day & holding my baby son marvelling at how huge his hands were. He has grown into his hands now, all 6+ft of him! Mike was very happy with some new fishing equipment he wanted.
Old photo
The garden is looking spiffing this year & I can't show you until I find my blinking camera. It is full of veg, fruit flowers & birds, just as it should be. I have managed to keep on top of resowing seeds for lettuce, spring onions, radish & spinach. We have harvested some potatoes & carrots which were meant to be served today for lunch with little lamb chops, however Rob has requested fajitas??
Still old photos

I have made some lovely wool & fabric purchases & was super excited to visit Mold yesterday & went to my favourite charity shop, where I found a rose bowl. I've wanted one for ages & nearly performed several cartwheels when I spotted it in the corner, I bought it & three more coronation mugs for my collection for the wonderful sum of £10.50. I was however ever so slightly peeved after cutting some roses for my rose bowl to find they wouldn't stand up straight, I plonked them in a jug instead until I find time to arrange them properly.

I shall leave you with this little shocker who has grown immensely, has had her jabs so can go for walks & who I had to wrestle a yank of hand dyed merino yarn from her jaws this morning!

  3. I didn't know you had a pup- what a sweetie! And what a pain about your camera :-( Frightening how fast children grow up, isn't it? Ours are all well on the way now too with the oldest 18 and driving herself all round the country... x

  4. Losing photos - nightmare scenario. I have all mine backed up in at least two places which wouldn't help if they were still only on my camera. Lovely little pup what breed is she. That little face is full of mischief.

    1. I have most of them backed up, the new ones are still on the memory card in the missing camera. She is a Shih Tzu, I think that is how it is spelt, the whole thing is full of mischief not just the face.

  5. Oh ...I'm sorry about your camera. Last week got a problem with my phone camera. That's really annoying. But now everything is okey, although the setting is changed.
I guess, now, your garden is almost similar to your old photos. All looked great.
Enjoy your day, and happy gardening!

  6. It's a shock when our 'babies' reach a milestone age isn't it, especially when we're still only young ourselves .... Lol. My eldest is 33 now how THAT happened I have no idea!!

Your little doggie is gorgeous, you'll get me doggy broody showing pictures like that.

    1. I know, he is now a fully fledged adult it's shocking! Not my little doggie though it feels like I have a part share in her, she goes home at night time.

  7. When you say you have lost your camera, do you mean that it is somewhere in your house, but you just don't know where that is? Or that it has been stolen? I hope you mean the former. It's funny how attached to a camera you can get, and I know that if I lost my Olympus I would be absolutely gutted. Re the Rose Bowl: my Mum used to have a glass insert that fitted inside the bowl - effectively a series of glass tubes, which kept the flowers upright. Does yours have a feature like that?

    1. You would soon send her back, she is a little horror! Thanks for the birthday wishes, he has had a lovely day, in work now & off out later on tonight. The camera is about somewhere, it will teach me for putting it away instead of leaving it on the side.

  9. Argh - how annoying and sad to lose your camera. I hope you find it very soon. Children grow up far too quickly. Happily, parents age at half the rate ;-)

  14. Sorry to hear about your camera, take your time looking for a new one as there are soooo many out there. I have a very old Fuji FinePix that takes terrible photos. Every time I think I have settled on something new I see something better.

    1. It is so tricky picking a new cameras, I have tentatively started looking. I think I shall have to go to a proper camera shop, I know I want something easy but perhaps with a bit of scope for the future.

    1. It is, I know it is hear somewhere! The crisp shot was several weeks ago, I heard lots of rustling in the kitchen, she had got into the bag & was trying to wrestle the packets! The yarn was yesterday, the most expensive one naturally!!

  19. Oh how sweet that doggie is. Do you have any of those glass baubles for your rose bowl - they will support the stems nicely. Happy birthday to Rob, I hope he had a good day. My biggest is halfway to 20, I know what you mean when you say, how did that happen? I do hope you find that camera with all of your pictures, it's so frustrating when things like that happen.
